Dr. Matthew Hasday

Dr. Matthew Hasday enjoys providing full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery services to his patients in Summit, NJ and the surrounding communities. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in history with a minor in biochemistry from Boston College and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, Dr. Hasday completed a general practice residency at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where he gained expertise in the practice of general dentistry. Dr. Hasday continued his postdoctoral training at Boston University and Boston Medical Center where he completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Hasday’s awards and distinctions include serving as chief oral and maxillofacial surgery resident at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, in addition to numerous national and regional recognitions as a dental student. Patient safety and comfort is his priority. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and holds a New Jersey General Anesthesia permit allowing his to safely provide in-office anesthesia and pain management. He maintains privileges at Overlook Hospital in Summit and helps to teach oral surgery to the dental residents.

In his spare time, Dr. Hasday enjoys running, golfing, listening to history podcasts, and trying new places to eat. He is a big New York Ranger fan. Originally from Long Island New York, he is enjoying life in New Jersey with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two young daughters.
